Craig Anderson has worked with the emergency communications sector for around 13 years and more broadly in communications and call centres over 20 years. Craig’s experience extends across technical management, project planning and management, business development and, most recently, strategic planning.
Craig is the Director, Public Safety Communications Program with the Public Safety Business Agency in Queensland. The Public Safety Business Agency is responsible for supporting the Queensland Emergency Service Agencies in keeping the community safe. He has been in Queensland for over 5 years and previously spent almost 8 years with the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority in Victoria.
In 2011, Craig led a national review of emergency communications services on behalf of the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department through the National Triple Zero Working Group. The result and recommendations of this review led to the establishment of the Next Generation Triple Zero project.
Craig is a member of the National Emergency Communications Working Group – Australia/New Zealand and is a member of the executive board of this group.
