Laura Sexton is responsible for delivery of Victoria’s Emergency Management Operational Communications Program, which has been developed to ensure that the in-field operational communications systems used by emergency services responders are contemporary, resilient, fit-for-purpose and affordable.
An outcome focused individual with portfolio, program and project management experience in both commercial and public sectors, Laura has been an advocate and champion for Victorian emergency service agencies for over 7 years. Clear, intelligent, value-based leadership governs Laura’s day-to-day decision-making, ensuring customer and community needs are always front of mind. Laura holds a Graduate Diploma in Project Management and Graduate Certificate in Business. Laura is also a certified Prince2 Practitioner and OGC Gateway Review Member. Laura detests cooking, appreciates a good laugh and manages stress levels through frequent visits to her local driving range!
