RF Technology is a leader in RF design and implementation. Established in 1979 RF Technology began in the analogue radio domain. With the advent of the Eclipse 2 it moved into the digital domain and now has a full suite of infrastructure products in analogue, P25 and paging. Some of the P25 recent advances have been encryption, trunking and simulcast all over IP. The recent partnership with CSIRO has provided impetuous for development of the Eclipse 3 a SDR broad band base station from 30 to 900 Mhz the hardware platform for multi and broad band technologies. The CSIRO partnership will deliver of the commercialisation of the Ngara technology in narrow band currently achieving 64 Kbps in 12.5 Khz channel and 128 Kbps in Mimo a world first. Aggregation of non-contiguous spectrum allowing unlimited speeds for multiple users will be the next evolution.
