In this session we look at converged technologies (LMR, LTE, SIP, CCTV, SCADA, GIS etc) and how they can be interconnected using open architectures, focusing on:
• highlighting the challenges of the typically stovepiped IT and OT environments.
• understanding the value of leveraging IT/OT convergence to increase value to the enterprise.
• use of open standard architectures and platforms that facilitate the integration of disparate communication networks;
• improvement in safety and emergency procedures resulting from IT/OT convergence.
